HERe NI submitted a Shadow Report to the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women. The CEDAW committee meets periodically with member states who will report on progress made in meeting the terms of the Articles of the convention. This report from HERe NI takes the main issues faced by lesbian and bisexual women, in the context of the convention and shows how the Northern Irish Government is failing to meet its commitments to CEDAW.
